What to Eat in the First Two Weeks After Implant Surgery

A practical, week-by-week guide to eating well while your implants integrate — without jeopardizing your result.

Nutrition drives healing, so the goal after surgery is not to eat less, but to eat softer while keeping protein high.

Days one to three

Cool, smooth foods only: protein shakes, Greek yogurt, blended soups once they have cooled, and scrambled eggs. Avoid straws, hot liquids and anything with seeds.

Days four to fourteen

Progress to soft-chew foods such as flaked fish, slow-cooked meats, pasta and steamed vegetables. Keep chewing away from surgical sites and continue rinsing as directed.
